The Lilongwe based senior ladies’ volleyball side, Archaeas Volleyball Club, has received a major boost ahead of the new season after Tikhale Property Consultant sponsored the team with a new set of jerseys.
The sponsorship comes as a strong statement of support towards women’s volleyball and the continued participation of senior players in the sport. Despite competing in the same league with much younger teams, Archaeas continues to demonstrate passion, resilience, and commitment to the growth of volleyball in Malawi.
Speaking on the development, the club representative expressed heartfelt gratitude to Tikhale Property Consultants and its Managing Director, Trust Mtegha, for believing in the team and in the future of volleyball.
“Receiving this sponsorship means a lot to us as senior ladies. It motivates us to continue competing and contributing to the growth of the game while inspiring younger female players that volleyball can be played passionately at every stage of life,” the club chairperson said.
Archaeas further applauded Tikhale Property Consultant for its continued investment in volleyball beyond just one team, noting that the company has consistently supported clubs from grassroots level — a clear sign of genuine passion for the sport.
“This support shows that TIKHALE is not only supporting Archaeas, but is a trusted partner in volleyball development as a whole. Their commitment to uplifting teams at different levels deserves recognition. As senior players, we understand our responsibility to encourage and guide the upcoming generation of female volleyball players. We are committed to representing both Archaeas and Tikhale with pride this season.” the statement added.
The club has since appealed to more companies and well-wishers to support Volleyball clubs and sports development initiatives in Malawi.
“Volleyball has enormous potential to transform lives, promote discipline, and empower young people. We encourage more partners to come on board and support the growth of this beautiful game.”
The sponsorship marks another positive step in strengthening women’s volleyball and promoting sports development through corporate partnership and community support.
