WE ARE HIRING: RECEPTIONIST
Join Our Team at Balo Lodge
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, handling reservations, processing payments, and ensuring that guests receive excellent customer service throughout their stay.

Duties and Responsibilities:
👉Welcome guests and assist them during check-in and check-out.
👉Answer telephone calls and respond to emails and other inquiries.
👉Manage room reservations and update the booking system.
👉Process guest payments and issue receipts.
👉Provide guests with information about the lodge, its facilities, and local attractions.
👉Handle guest complaints professionally and report issues to management.
👉Maintain accurate guest records and prepare daily reports.
👉Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
👉Ensure that the reception area remains clean, organized, and professional.
👉Perform other administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

👉A certificate or diploma in hospitality, tourism, business administration, or a related field.
👉Previous experience in a hotel, lodge, or customer service environment will be an added advantage.
👉Good communication and interpersonal skills.
👉Computer literacy and the ability to use reservation systems.
👉Strong organizational and time-management skills.
👉The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
👉A professional appearance and a positive attitude.

We are looking for a passionate, creative, and experienced Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and creating an excellent dining experience for our guests.

Job Title: Chef
Duties and Responsibilities
👉Prepare and cook meals according to the lodge's menu and guest requirements.
👉Plan menus and suggest new dishes.
Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
👉Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
👉Monitor food stock and prepare inventory reports.
👉Ensure proper storage of food and kitchen supplies.
👉Follow all health, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
👉Supervise and coordinate kitchen assistants when necessary.
👉Minimize food waste and control kitchen costs.
👉Work closely with management to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements:
Previous experience as a chef or cook.
Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and hygiene practices.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A culinary qualification will be an added advantage.
