Though founded in February 2011, the story begins its way earlier with our executive chef Claude Gourana. From humble beginnings, our chef comes from far to reach where he is today. His passion for cooking starts at a very young age with professional training in 1988 where he wins his first certificate of cook. From then on, he goes on to master the French, Italian, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Mediterr
anean and South American gastronomy. Being one of the finest chef, he works for prestigious institutions such as Domaine des Chasseurs, Alphonse Island Resort, Heritage Golf and Spa Resort, Tamassa Resort and Le St Aubin. He was also present on the international stage at the Cote D'Azure Creole festival in France in 2009. To bring his art to an even larger audience, the chef founded La Courgette.
