The Urdu Speaking Union is pleased to launch its next FREE 8-Session Word Processing Course in Urdu, designed to equip participants with practical digital skills while promoting the use of Urdu in today’s technological environment.

💻 Participants will receive hands-on guidance in Urdu InPage, MS Word and PowerPoint through interactive and structured sessions.

✨ Celebrating Urdu, Talent & Culture ✨

The Urdu Speaking Union proudly held the Prize Giving Ceremony of the National Urdu Competitions 2026, graced by Hon. Mahendra Gondeea, O.S.K., Minister of Arts and Culture, as Chief Guest.

A highlight of the evening was the Urdu drama “Sabad-e-Gul Mental Hospital”, written by Mr Shamim Pengwah, Secretary of the Urdu Speaking Union. Mr Fayaz Mohamudally (Assistant Secretary) and Mrs Nausheen Noormamode (Assistant Treasurer) delivered remarkable performances alongside a talented cast of artists, bringing humour, energy and creativity to the stage while conveying the powerful message “Say No to Drugs.”

Three unforgettable days filled with learning, laughter and teamwork! 🎭✨

Our Urdu Drama Workshop proved that learning a language can be interactive, creative and truly enjoyable. Through theatre, participants built confidence, strengthened their Urdu communication skills, discovered new talents and created wonderful memories together.

The Urdu Speaking Union, under the aegis of the Ministry of Arts and Culture, cordially invites you all to join us for an evening dedicated to celebrating the achievements of our talented young participants in the National Urdu Competitions 2026.
