SPEAKERS:
SIMIT BHAGAT (India) - His film on Bhojpuri folk music, _In Search of Bidesia_, won the Best Music Documentary Award at the Royal Anthropology Film Festival in the UK and has been screened internationally.
AÏSHA BALUCK (Mauritius) - The lead actress in the historical segment of the film _Girmitiya: The Unsung Hero_, she pursued Film Studies to develop her skills in visual storytelling and media production.
VIKASH SITARAM (South Africa) - The producer of the film _Greytown Girl_, he plans to create an epic adaptation of the Trinidadian novel _A House for Mr Biswas_ by Nobel Laureate V. S. Naipaul.
KEVIN NIPAL (United States) - He is working on a film about the life of Andrew Ramroop, a Trinidadian master tailor based on Savile Row in London, the world-famous street known for bespoke tailoring.
