From searching for worlds beyond ours to designing AI around humans.

Before working at the intersection of data science, design and AI, Angela Kochoska was a postdoctoral researcher in Computational Astrophysics, developing machine learning algorithms to analyze data from NASA’s Kepler and TESS exoplanet search missions.

Today, as Senior Data Science Lead at IDEO, she applies that scientific mindset to a very different challenge: how emerging technologies can help us design better products, services and experiences around people.

Her work explores Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, data-driven design research, mixed methods and immersive surveys bringing together technology, research and human-centered design.

Angela joins AI Tech Summit “Filip Avramchev” 2026 this September in Skopje.

From understanding data about distant worlds to understanding how humans interact with AI this is a perspective we’re looking forward to bringing to the Summit.
