Not sure my parents even fully understand what I do, but that’s true of most creatives right?! 🫠 And that’s fair… my work consists of many many random things… a thousand decisions, meetings, strategies, timelines, moodboards, recces, sourcing rambles, admin tasks and inexplicable errands to create one beautiful, unique, and directional event for our awesome clients.

I wouldn’t change it though, 9-5? Nah not for me. Chaos, challenges, inconsistencies and the unexpected… apparently that’s my vibe…! 😍😂🙌🏼

I have a thing about chairs. So much so there’s now one permanently on my body (did you spot it?)
They’re such everyday objects, and typically designed for function; but they can also be FUN. The shape, the material, the colour, the weird little details. Pieces of art, that give our butts a home.

Within event design, chairs matter way more than people realise. Basically one of the building blocks of a room, but also the “world” you’re trying to create for your guests. So I’m always looking at them, pinning them, saving them, photographing them, even mentally redesigning them.

Anyway, here are some chairs I had the pleasure of meeting this year and can’t stop thinking about.
