What an incredible experience representing Lesotho at the SAFSMA Flames of Africa Life space Invitational Cup 2026 ! 🇱🇸🔥

Competing alongside amazing BBQ teams /Pit Masters from Australia, Brazil, Mozambique, Ghana, South Africa, and beyond, we're proud to have finished:

🥉 3rd Place – Pork
🏅 5th Place – Beef

We're grateful for the experience, the friendships, and everything we learned. This is just the beginning for The Mountain Sizzlers. More photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes moments are still to come. Stay tuned! 🔥🥩

This one is for you The Mountain Sizzlers , Basotho & Lesotho. We competed amongst the Crème de la crème, and we came back with a medal, but most importantly, the experience and the confidence that we, as Basotho, are capable of competing amongst the best in the world.

The smoke has settled, the grills have cooled, and the results are in!

After an intense battle against some of the finest braai masters at the Flames of Africa – Lifespace Invitational Cup 2026 in Pretoria, The Mountain Sizzlers proudly claimed 3rd place in the Pork Category.

This is more than a podium finish - it's a victory for Lesotho, proving that our passion, talent, and flavour can stand shoulder to shoulder with the very best.

Congratulations to the Mountain Sizzlers for flying the Mountain Kingdom's flag high.

The journey doesn't end here... there's still more to come. Stay tuned!

Day one is done and dusted; what a day it has been for The Mountain Sizzlers. We stepped into a pit of smokehouse legends. The competition is stacked with heavy hitting pitmasters. Looking forward to day two.

Today, The Mountain Sizzlers proudly represent Lesotho at the Flames of Africa 2026 Lifespace Invitational Cup in Pretoria, South Africa. 🇱🇸🔥We're going head-to-head with top pitmasters from Australia, Mozambique, South Africa and other countries in this world-class BBQ competition, a pre-qualifier for the World BBQ Cup in Las Vegas . Win or lose, we're here to learn, grow, fly the Lesotho flag high, and bring world-class barbecue inspiration back to Sizzle in the Sky on 19 September Ka Mafikeng. Wish us luck! 🔥🇱🇸.
