My Story: Capturing Life Through the Lens
My name is Joe D Sackie, commonly known as Jodi. I was born on December 1, 2002, and I studied at the University of Liberia. I am a professional photographer with skills across other creative fields, based at the Police Academy in Paynesville City, Liberia 🇱🇷.
My journey into this creative world was highly influenced and motivated by my older sister, Irene N Hena❤️. It was her encouragement, belief in my potential, and constant support that first sparked my interest in visual art. She saw talent in me before I fully recognized it myself, pushing me to pick up a camera, explore my creativity, and turn my passion into a profession.
With my education from the University of Liberia and my growing experience, I bring a well-rounded perspective to every project. Beyond photography, my diverse creative skills let me approach work with versatility, attention to detail, and artistic vision. I don’t just take pictures — I capture authentic moments, preserve memories, and tell stories that reflect the beauty, culture, and spirit of Liberia and its people.
Living and working in Paynesville, I draw daily inspiration from the vibrant life, landscapes, and communities around me. Every image I create blends technical skill, creativity, and heart — always aiming to leave a lasting impression. This is my journey, built on education, support, and a lifelong love for creating art that speaks.
