While one team was handling Sachini & Heshan’s Grand Ballroom wedding, another team was managing Shashini & Kanchana’s Jubille Hall celebration from vendor arrivals and setup to the poruwa, registration, timings, entertainment, buffet and the little details in between.
The key wasn’t just having more people. It was having the right team, clear responsibilities, proper communication and a timeline that everyone followed.
And this is exactly why I always say wedding coordination is more than just being present on the day. It’s about knowing what needs to happen, who needs to do it, and making sure two events can move smoothly without one affecting the other.
