Eat your heart out! That smile says it all.
A few nights ago, I did a thing, I took a cake class with the talented cake artist of in Chicago.
If you don't know, I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 2010 - a long time ago and worked in pastry kitchens before getting into marketing. Make sense now why I have this small business. 🤯
Anyway, it's been over 14 years since I decorated a cake and a few nights ago was a reminder that muscle memory is actually a thing and sometimes you just need a bit of a nudge to start doing something again. My piping def needs a bit of work and practice will make perfect again, because it's just like riding a bike.
Thanks so much, ECBG and Izzy for the tips and tricks on decorating this stunning cake and for the moistest chocolate cake I have had in a while!
Will I be back to ECBG to learn the latest piping techniques...I think so!
