I hear this so often from people. You look at a finished Ikebana arrangement and immediately think,
“Wow, I could never make that.”
And honestly, I completely get it! I felt the exact same way when I first started Ikebana. Between the constant demands of life and the hustle of Seoul, your mind usually feels way too drained to even attempt doing something “artistic.”
But what if creating something beautiful didn’t require a special gift? What if your creativity is actually already there, just waiting for a quiet, mindful activity with flowers to finally breathe?
That is exactly what we practice in Ikebana. Here in the studio, there is absolutely zero pressure to be a master artist. It is just a cozy, guided space to take a deep breath, notice the natural curve of a single branch, and find where it naturally wants to rest.
You don’t need magic—you just need the willingness to mindfully look at nature.
