11월 13일과 20일, 위고 서포터즈 2기는 오산과 안성, 양평에 다녀왔습니다.
오산 유엔군 초전기념관과 양평 지평리전투 기념관에서는 해설투어를 함께 들으며, 한미 관계뿐 아니라 서포터즈간의 이해도와 친밀도를 높일 수 있는 시간을 가졌습니다.
또 유네스코 세계무형유산으로 등재된 남사당 바우덕이 공연과 김장문화도 체험했는데요.

On November 13th and 20th, the 2nd We Go Supporters went on a tour to Osan, Anseong and Yangpyeong.
While listening to the commentary tour together at the Osan's Task Force Smith Museum and Yangpyeong's Chipyong-Ni Battle Memorial, the supporters had time to improve understanding and relationships between themselves as well as Korea and the United States.
Also Supporters watched Namsadang Baudeogi performances and participated in Kimjang and the culture surrounding it, both of which are UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.

지난 10월 23~24일, 30~31일 간 대면으로 만나 [We Cook Together] 활동을 진행한 위고 서포터즈 2기! 11월 6일에는 ZOOM에서 각자 어떤 요리들을 했는지 살펴보는 자리를 가졌는데요. 오징어게임에서 핫한 달고나를 직접 만들어보기도 하고, 쉬림프 보일같이 이색적인 미국 요리도 엿볼 수 있었답니다! 자세한 내용은 영상에서 확인해보세요 :)

On October 23-24 and 30–31, the 2nd We Go Supporters organized the We Cook Together event where they got to meet face-to-face. Then, on November 6, we got to check out what each of them prepared via a Zoom meeting. Supporters got to make their own dalgona, just like the one made popular by Squid Game. In addition to preparing a unique American food like shrimp boil! Check out the video for more details. :)

ROK-US Speech Contest and Talk show! :)

지난 9월 25일(토) 진행된 위고 서포터즈 락 어스 스피치 콘테스트 & 토크쇼!

스피치 콘테스트는 예선을 거쳐 본선을 진행하였는데요,
8명의 본선 진출자들은 스튜디오에서 보다 발전된 내용의 스피치를 선보여주셨습니다👏
주제는 '일상 속 한미동맹과 그 중요성'으로,
각자의 시각에서 풀어낸 한미동맹이 무척 인상 깊은 시간이었답니다😎

뒤이어 외교부 북미국 한미안보협력2과의 실무자 분들이
서포터즈들의 궁금증을 해소해주는 토크쇼가 진행되었어요!
또한 깜짝 퀴즈도 진행해 서포터즈들의 뜨거운 열기가 생생히 느껴졌답니다🔥

그리고 스피치 콘테스트 수상자들을 발표하는 시상식으로 행사의 대미를 장식했는데요!
1등은 Kormerican Squad의 Jennifer Suh, 2등은 Caffeine의 김신영,
그리고 3등은 각각 Caffeine의 Lauren Rimalos, 박건우, 그리고 Bulgogi Pizza의 박서연님이 수상하셨습니다🎉

지난 8월 21일, 위고 서포터즈 2기가 제2회 도전! 위고벨에 참여했습니다! 제2회 도전! 위고벨은 한미동맹을 주제로 한 퀴즈대회였답니다. 서포터즈들은 자신의 지식을 뽐내며 대회 내내 정말 열정적으로 임했는데요! 과연 최후의 승자는 누가 되었을까요? 영상에서 확인해보시죠😊
On Aug 21st, 2nd We Go Supporters participated in the 2nd We Go Golden Bell. The 2nd We Go Golden Bell was a quiz competition about the ROK-US alliance. Our supporters were bragging about their knowledge and they were super enthusiastic for the whole competition time! Who do you think came out as the winner of this competition? Check it in the video😊

JULY’S ACTIVITY HIGHLIGHT
위고 서포터즈 2기가 지난 7월 31일 두번째 공식행사로 ‘지식교류 취재활동 발표회’ 시간을 가졌습니다! 한미관계와 관련된 곳들을 팀원들과 방문 및 리서치를 진행하고 정리된 내용을 다른 서포터즈들에게 공유하는 자리였어요. 전쟁기념관부터 죽미령 평화공원, 인천 상륙작전 기념관 등 다양한 장소들에서 유의미한 경험들을 쌓고 생생하게 공유한 위고 서포터즈들에게 다시 한번 감사의 말씀을 드립니다💖 어떤 이야기가 오갔는지 차례차례 공유해드릴테니.. 많관부!😁
Our 2nd We Go Supporters had ‘Knowledge Exchange Presentation’ on July 31st, as their second official event! They visited or did research on the places related to the relations between ROK and the U.S., and shared their experiences with other supporters. We thank our supporters once again for visiting War Memorial of Korea, Jukmiryeong Peace Park, The Memorial Hall for Incheon Landing Operation etc., having meaningful experiences, and sharing them with their fellow team mates💖 We’ll tell you what stories were discussed so.. stay tuned!😁

KICK OFF CEREMONY HIGHLIGHT
위고 서포터즈 2기가 지난 6월 19일 출범하였습니다!🥳 코로나 상황 속에서 온라인으로 발대식이 이루어졌는데요, 그럼에도 이들의 열정이 화면 너머까지 느껴지는듯한 순간이었습니다. 위고 서포터즈 2기는 앞으로 12월까지 남은 6개월 간 한미관계의 중요성을 알리고 문화교류를 통해 그 관계를 더욱 돈독히 다지는 여정을 이어갈 계획입니다. 모두 댓글과 좋아요❤️로 뜨거운 응원 부탁드려요!
The 2nd We Go Supporters had its launch on June 19th!🥳 The kick-off ceremony was held online due to the COVID19 situation, however, we could feel their passion even beyond the screen. From now on, 2nd We Go Supporters will continue their path for the remaining six months until December, with promoting the importance of ROK-US relations and strengthening the relationship through cultural exchanges.
