On 11 July 2025, UNESCO has listed a new listing called “The Cambodian Memorial Sites: From centres of repression to places of peace and reflection” as World Heritage listing includes three locations:

1. Former M-13 prison: This site represents the early phase of repression by the Khmer Rouge regime. It's located in a rural area between Kampong Chhnang and Kampong Speu provinces.

2. Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (former S-21 prison): Located in Phnom Penh, this was the largest detention and torture center operated by the Khmer Rouge. It was originally a high school before being converted into a prison.

3. Choeung Ek Genocidal Center (former ex*****on site of S-21): Also located in Phnom Penh, this infamous "killing field" was where prisoners from S-21 were brought for ex*****on and buried in mass graves.

In response to the severe devastation impacted from the and armed clashes along the border. SAM INSPIRE is actively involving in the humanitarian aids to help those families affected by the conflict.

Today, we delivered a direct, hands-on donation to over 300 families in four villages along the Cambodian-Thai border in Oddar Meanchey Province. Each family received a sack of rice and three cans of canned fish, providing essential support to those who need it most in this hustle.

This act of kindness was made possible by the incredible generosity of our main client and supporter, Ivanhoe Grammar School from Australia, who donated an amazing $1,500. Their contribution, combined with the support of our dedicated local Cambodian friends and partners, and our own Sam Inspire family, brought our total to $2,000. This is a powerful example of what can be achieved when we unite for a common cause.

Our family has brought some used clothes, Kramar (scarfs) and cash to one of refugee campsites at Srei Snam district and some military troops, 100km west of Siem Reap. Every pagoda plays crucial roles to facilitate this challenging time. Classrooms are occupied that teachers and monks help the families kids learn while they are away from schools.
If you ever wish to make a visit, bringing learning materials are important too in addition to the daily living necessaries. All pagodas with sign Free Campsite, there are hundreds of families there.

This is an example of event management career. From the moment of planning to dismissal are all in stress, worry and risk taking. No matter how good we are, things are unpredictable. Therefore, lots of alternatives, backups, and contingencies are set in place. Every cent we earned are through drop of bleeding sweats.
