Night shift 🥹🥹🥹
I am soooo tired. I’m sleepy. My body has already submitted to weakness but apparently the band didn’t get the memo.
So here I am at the console, staring at 32 channels like they personally offended me.
The drummer hits the snare: BANG
The guitarist: WEEEEEE!
The bassist :dummmmm
And me? I’m mixing with one eye open, one hand on the fader, and the other hand negotiating with God…..
Someone asksSam, can you make the vocals brighter …
Brother… at this point, I need my life brighter.
The band is playing like it’s the biggest concert of the year. Meanwhile, I’m fighting sleep like it owes me money and my love life 😆🤣
But that’s the life of a sound guy.
Everybody hears the music.
Only the sound guy hears the problems.

And tonight, if you hear a perfect mix, just know it was mixed by a man who was technically awake… but spiritually already in bed.
