Notes from our meeting last week for anyone new to the planning committee:
MXG Children’s Holiday Party
Location- Wess will work on this- will announce at meeting on 1 November
Date: will be announcement on 1 November. It will most likely be on Sunday

Polar Express- with PJs (if you’d like)
Planning for about 250 kids
Squadron Action Assignments:
Decorations: 718 AMXS
Snacks/Drinks and Cookie decorating: EMS
Games: CMS
Entertainment & cake walk: 18 AMXS
All things Santa (arrival, pictures, etc): MXG/MO
Crafts: MUNS
Please use the Polar Express theme when planning your assignments above! 🙂
Tables and chairs will come from ODR- Erica will coordinate this.
All squadron reps will ask the booster club for $200. Erica will ask USO, Chaplain, KESC, KOSC and other private orgs for donations/money.
All monetary donations will be pooled and distributed as necessary to respective areas listed above. We are trying very hard not to have anyone pay out of pocket for anything! If you know a source we can request money from- please let Erica know.
Each squadron needs to email me an AD POC asap. My email is: [email protected].
If there are known conflicts with the above dates, please notify Erica as soon as possible.
Next meeting is 1 November at 1730. MXG conference room. Each squadron needs to bring their plan of action to fulfill their portion assigned above and the number of volunteers needed to complete their action. We will have a sign up genius for the requests along with set up and tear down opportunities. We will begin advertising to the entire group shortly after this meeting. Anyone who wants to participate in planning/coordinating pulling this together is welcome to show up!
