It’s great when to “be the change you want to see in the world” means getting out on a beautiful mountain in the Pacific Northwest with a community of runners and folks who are also motivated to make an impact.

I’m excited to share with you that I’ll be hosting two trail races that are fundraisers for clean air initiatives in Washington state this spring.

I’d love for my WA mountain community to join me at:
Running Up for Air: Tiger Mountain (Issaquah) - April 18th
Running Up for Air: Chuckanut Chinscrapter (Bellingham) - May 9th

Both events will benefit ’s work in the fight for clean air.

Between wildfires and industrial pollution, the Seattle metro area ranks as the 9th worst city nation wide for acute air quality emergencies. What’s more, WA has 16 communities identified as overburdened by poor air. Beyond the obvious environmental concerns, we know that communities of color are 3x more likely to be impacted by air quality concerns. 

These challenges are all connected, and we can only solve them together. See you race day!

What is an idea? How do our ideas influence our vibes?

was built with the idea that the right music and the right place could welcome people into deeper connection with themselves and each other.

That depth, to me, feels lush and vibrant. Some place wild, not without it’s darker corners, and always with a sense of promise.

When I prep for a Reflect set, I do so with the intention to tap into the cosmic creativity that guides life in our universe. DJing for the community that turns out to our parties feels like exploring acceptance of what is and being curious about what is to come together.

2025 was a ride, and a challenging one. For the year that is to come, I hope for a renewal of the threads of our creative vitality. Culturally, may we generate new and powerful realities to replace the withering power structures of our world. We are all a part of building the future we need and desire.

I play tomorrow with the intention to create new things together… with balance, strength, joy, and an internal fire we can share.

Wow! Last month was quite prolific in the music realm. I spent a lot of time behind the decks putting together some very personally satisfying mixes. I’m excited to share Spirit Ventures XII with you today!

This mix originally aired on The Vortex on C89.5FM, and now lives on as the twelfth installment of the Spirit Ventures series. Part audio journal, always explorative, and increasingly honed, I think you’ll love this.

This mix was generated during time in the dark, visionless, so guided by sound towards hidden gems and whispered incantations. From those depths has a come balance of intensity and tranquility, a new understanding of the earth that holds us and what it is to be here now.

The process of chiseling away to present you with these Enchanted Signals has been so good to me. I hope they carry you to new places, and thrill you along the way.

Fresh Squeezed (SLOW) Citrus 🍊

Today I finally get to share a new DJ mix I’ve entitled Water Rituals. This has been percolating for more than a year as I’ve learned to relate deeply to these sounds, and work with them in the ways that I find most compelling. This is mystical resistance movement music, accessing soulful, vital space via an embodied response to sound waves by approaching dance music a little differently.

The title “Water Rituals” comes from the place where this mix concept was born, sinking deep into a bath and soaking in some reflective personal time where I notice the way these sound waves make me feel, and the way that those feelings encourage reflection, and the way those reflections inspire me toward actions that integrate into a reality where we create new pathways for design and creation together, beyond the extractive imperialist systems that are ripping our world apart.

The key difference between this and other mixes I have shared? Tempo. This music is sloooow. There is more SPACE in these grooves. I am finding in a slower pace a “NO” that makes space for the new yes. I’m celebrating the curiosity that is arising in this space. It seems to me that wonder expands more, is more accessible. The magic is deeper. ✨

What happens when we slow down together? Do we see things we may have missed before? Is there more nuance to the sweetness of the peach, more space between stimuli and reaction? More space to imagine our desired futures? With "Water Rituals", I invite you to groove like this with me. Savor the textures and melodies. Hold them close and allow some calm to hold you. Make space for these sounds to hold meaning.

I am looking to share more of these exceptional and thoughtful vibrations in alternative spaces that are ripe for continuing this inquiry with you all. Stay tuned!
