no theme, no agenda, we join the voice channel and see where it goes. talk the whole hour or listen quietly the entire time. plenty of people do exactly that.

two years of hosting and i’ve stopped believing most of the advice people give about walking into a room alone.

“put yourself out there” isn’t much of a plan. neither is “be confident.”

going back a second time usually is.

our success rate with dry picnics in tokyo this summer has been questionable 🌧

but odaiba still gave us a drone show, a gundam, and a very good night

30 people played padel this weekend and a lot of them had never played before.

some people clearly knew what they were doing. some of us were mostly trying not to send the ball onto the next court. somehow the mixed games ended up being the best ones.

such a good night😊

apparently we’re just doing picnics in the rain now 🌧

thank you to everyone who still came all the way out to odaiba. a little drizzle, a surprise drone show over the bay, and a walk to gundam after.

definitely not the evening we planned, but a very good one anyway 🤍 hope everyone got home safe!
