We at Okinawa Enchantments wish you a Happy World Ocean Day! As we reflect on the beautiful waters that surround our little island, we are also reminded that too many beaches like slide 5 still exist here. Please don't jump scare the mermaids and consider joining one of the many beach clean opportunities to help keep Oki oceans clean and the creatures inside it safe from deadly plastics.

& are great organizations that host frequent beach clean ups around the island!

What an exciting way to kick off Mer May! 🧜🏼‍♀️ Meeting and playing in the water with so many friends was the highlight of our Golden Week for sure. 💦

Special thanks to & for making this special day possible 💖
