Some wedding days are filled with golden sunshine… and some are filled with rain, umbrellas, and the sweetest reminder that joy is a choice. 🤍

Katrina and Nick’s wedding day at Washington Crossing Inn brought plenty of rainy weather, but you would never know it by the way they carried themselves the entire day. They were simply so happy to be getting married and celebrating with the people they love most, and that joy overflowed into every part of the day.

We snuck out into the gardens for a few moments with umbrellas in hand, and I’m so grateful they were fully open to embracing the weather instead of fighting against it. There’s something so beautiful about documenting a wedding day as it truly was — not chasing “perfect” conditions, but capturing the real story, the real emotions, and the real memories that made the day theirs.

And honestly? Those are often the images that feel the most meaningful years later.

There was so much laughter, tenderness, and genuine happiness woven throughout this entire day. And Katrina… absolutely stunning. 😍

It was such an honor to be trusted to document this chapter for them, rain and all. 🤍

There is something so sacred about being invited into a family’s home during those first few weeks with a new baby. 🤍 Getting to see the Andersons and document this brand new season for them was such an honor.

Their sweet baby girl has officially made her arrival, and it was so special getting to step into their world for a little bit and capture these moments while everything is still so fresh, tender, and new. I loved getting to know them and watching how beautifully they’re settling into this new rhythm of parenthood.

I always say that the adjustment to your first baby can feel like the biggest life shift, and while every family experiences it differently, they truly seemed to be doing such an amazing job together.

And honestly… one of my favorite things to capture during newborn sessions these days is mom and dad. Yes, documenting those tiny newborn details matters so much because babies change in the blink of an eye. But there’s also something incredibly beautiful about documenting the parents in this brand new phase too. The awe, the tenderness, the love, the “we made this tiny human” feeling… it’s written all over them.

That kind of love never really fades. Babies truly are miracles — every single one of them. 🤍

Getting to reconnect with this sweet family for their maternity session was such a gift. 🤍 I did a mini session with them last year, so having a full hour together this time felt extra special because I really got the chance to slow down and get to know them better. They are truly the sweetest.

Their little boy was an absolute ham the entire session and did SO well. 😂 I have so many precious images from our time together, but in an effort to continue honoring my commitment to keeping children’s identifiable photos off social media, I’m sharing just a small glimpse from this beautiful evening.

We captured this sweet season of anticipation out in the tulip fields at Dalton Farms, and it honestly could not have been more beautiful. The colors, the light, the blooms… it all felt so dreamy.

This sweet family is getting ready to welcome a baby girl very soon, and it was such an honor to document this chapter for them. 🌷💕

There’s something so special about getting to step into moments like this with clients who have become more like friends over the years. 🤍 Being trusted as the gender keeper for this sweet family was such an honor… and keeping that secret was honestly harder than I expected. 😂

Their toddler got to reveal the news with the sweetest bouquet surprise, and IT’S A BOY! 💙 Watching that moment unfold was so emotional and joy-filled, and I already know this little guy is going to bring such a fun new dynamic to their family.

As a boy mama myself, I loved getting to share in the excitement with them and talk about all the wild, sweet, energetic goodness that comes with raising boys. I’m just so incredibly happy for them and grateful I got to capture this memory for their family story.

And thankfully… I made it through without accidentally giving the surprise away. 😅

There’s something really special about getting to photograph people you genuinely enjoy being around… and Alex & Kyle are those people 🤍

They reached out to celebrate something that might just be one of my favorite reasons for a session ever — their sweet girl Ellie Mae’s “gotcha day.” One year of loving this pup who completely stole their hearts.

And let me tell you… it didn’t take long to see why documenting her mattered so much. Ellie Mae has the sweetest, funniest little personality — the kind that makes you laugh without even trying.

But here’s where their story gets even better…

If you know Alex and Kyle, you know they love a good brewery. And in the most full-circle, meant-to-be kind of way, they were at a dog-themed brewery in Hammonton when they stumbled across Ellie Mae’s adoption listing. They went to meet her the very next day… and the rest is history 🐾

Now for the part that had us all laughing during their session…

Ellie Mae also loves breweries. Specifically… beer 😂
Not because anyone encouraged it — she just decided on her own that it was worth pursuing. Think: sneaky licks, knocked-over cups, and zero interest in anything else once a beer is nearby. Honestly, iconic behavior.

We started their session in Batsto, soaking in those quiet, beautiful moments together… and then of course, we had to end at their favorite brewery, raising a glass (and letting Ellie sneak a few licks, because let’s be real… she earned it).

These are the kinds of stories that make sessions unforgettable — not just pretty photos, but real life, personality, and the little quirks that make your story yours.

Also… if you ever find yourself there, do yourself a favor and try the prickly pear sour. Trust me.

I had so much fun reading through them, and honestly… you all were WAY too sweet. I truly just needed to get a few reviews on there to get started, but you guys absolutely went above and beyond with the kind things you wrote. It meant a lot more than you probably realize.

A little update from me 🤍

One of my absolute favorite things about my job is getting to photograph your sweet families and little ones. Those tiny hands, big personalities, and the love you share together are some of the most meaningful moments I get to capture.

Because I love those photos so much, I wanted to share a small change with you so no mama ever wonders if I didn’t share a photo because I didn’t love it — that’s never the case.

Recently, I felt convicted to stop posting identifiable photos of children or minors on my social media pages. I will still absolutely photograph and celebrate your little ones during sessions and weddings, but their faces and identities will stay private online.

You may still see little details here and there — tiny hands, little feet, sweet moments from a distance — but this is simply my way of helping protect their privacy in the online world.

Please know I adore the photos I take of your kiddos and feel so honored to capture these moments for your families. Thank you for trusting me with your memories. 🤍

Emily and Josh’s wedding day at Renault Winery was perfect! It was my first time photographing a Renault wedding and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to explore with such a wonderful couple.

These two completely won the winter wedding lottery with the warm February weather, even if the ground was really wet still. It felt like the perfect little gift in the middle of winter!

Emily and Josh were just so joyful and easy to celebrate. Getting to wander the property with them, soaking in the beauty of the day and capturing their excitement as newlyweds, made this wedding such a special one for me.
