Are you considering having an open bar at your wedding in Italy? Here’s what to keep in mind.

In Italy, an open bar usually doesn’t mean unlimited drinks for the entire celebration. Most suppliers offer a certain number of cocktails and a specific number of service hours, often starting when the dancing party begins.

Beer, wine, and soft drinks may also be included, depending on the supplier and the package you choose.

But here’s where the extra costs can come in: extending the bar beyond the included hours, choosing premium alcohol, requesting a wider selection of cocktails, or needing additional bar staff.

This is one of those extra wedding expenses couples often overlook and can easily get caught off guard by, so always check exactly what’s included in your open bar package when planning your Italy wedding budget.

Flowers, tables, chairs, and chandeliers... You’ve included them in your Italy wedding budget. But have you considered the cost of getting them there, setting them up, and taking them down?

A lot of couples forget that delivery, dismantling, and even extra set-up can mean additional costs.

For example, suppliers may charge for travelling to your wedding venue, while flowers, chairs, tables, and other wedding props usually need to be dismantled at the end of the night.

Extra set-up can add up too. Think about extra flowers for your seating chart, wedding cake table, late-night snack corner, or photo-boot.
