Chi c'è dietro Peony Studio? 🌸

Siamo Kurogami e Shiawase: coppia nella vita e nelle corde, insegnanti insieme.
Abbiamo iniziato da zero,poi nel 2016 abbiamo incontrato Wildties e RedSabbath e da allora il nostro percorso è cresciuto all'interno del Ki***ku LuXuria.

Dopo anni in giro per il mondo tra corsi e performances, ci mancava uno spazio vicino a casa. Così nel 2023 abbiamo preso una ex tipografia a Torino e l'abbiamo trasformata, quasi tutta con le nostre mani, in Peony Studio.

Who's behind Peony Studio? 🌸

We are Kurogami and Shiawase: a couple in life and in rope, teaching together.
We started from zero, then in 2016 we met Wildties and RedSabbath, and since then our path has grown within Ki***ku LuXuria.

After years travelling the world to teach and perform, we were missing a space close to home. So in 2023 we took a former print shop in Turin and turned it, almost entirely with our own hands, into Peony Studio.

ROPE HANDLING INTENSIVE TRAINING
with Wildties and RedSabbath

You know the harness. You know every passage.
So why does it still take so much effort to tie?

This two-day intensive is focused entirely on rope handling: efficiency, grip, tension management, rope retrieval and movement.

Through repeated drills, feedback and practical benchmarks, the goal is to make your tying cleaner, more efficient and more reliable—even when conditions are less than ideal.

Be warned: this will be a bootcamp.

The workshop is open to students who have attended at least an N1 class with us and know the basic harnesses.

BODY HANDLING FOR ROPE BO***GE
A Two-Day Immersive Workshop

📅 3–4 April 2027
🕙 10:00–17:30
📍 Peony Studio, Turin

Physical contact, movement and touch are central elements of rope bo***ge.

This two-day hands-on workshop focuses on how to move a bound body with grace, control and effortlessness, using finesse, leverage and pivot points rather than strength alone.

We will work on:

• elegant movement
• leverage and control
• body handling as communication
• adapting to different bodies and proportions

The focus is on handling rather than rope technicals. A basic knowledge and practice of the basic harnesses of the style is required.

23–24 January 2027 · a weekend at Peony Studio

On Saturday, Ki***ku Delight returns after a long break.

Born in the living room of Kurogami and Shiawase, Ki***ku Delight was created as a way to experience ki***ku up close, away from the logic of a prepared performance: two couples, two different sessions, no choreography and no predetermined sequence.

What happens is shaped in the moment — by connection, atmosphere, intention and whatever emerges during the session.

Two sessions of around one hour each, a break in between, followed by a final conversation and Q&A.

The next day, 24 January, the weekend continues with the Open Day: a day to discover Peony Studio, practice, observe, meet the community and experience the space.

A Weekend Pass is also available for those who want to join both events.

Foundation Lv.2- il secondo passo del percorso

Hai già mosso i primi passi con le basi e adesso vuoi andare oltre? Foundation Lv.2 è il corso pensato per chi vuole costruire legature più articolate, più costrittive e più comunicative, con la calma e la cura di chi sa già muoversi con la corda.

Quattro serate insieme a kurogamiandrea e per lavorare su:
🪢 floorwork e gestione del carico sulle linee di sospensione
🪢 legature più strutturate e fluide
🪢 comunicazione, intenzione e gestione della sessione

📅 Quattro martedì: 10, 17, 24 novembre e 1 dicembre
🕢 Dalle 19:30 alle 22:30 (si entra dalle 19:00)

👥 Si partecipa in coppia

Cosa serve: aver frequentato Foundation Lv.1 o avere conoscenze equivalenti, e minimo 8 corde in juta o canapa. Chi viene legato deve sentirsi a proprio agio con costrizione e floorwork. Vestiti comodi, senza ferretti e senza capi troppo larghi.
