In the quiet heart of Cetona, surrounded by warm stone walls and the scent of fresh herbs, there is a chef who doesn’t simply cook — he tells a story.
His name is Nicolà Ducchini, born in Montepulciano, known from MasterChef Italia, and now the creative soul behind some of the most intimate tables in the Val d’Orcia.
You see him like this: focused, grounded, moving with the calm confidence of someone who truly understands the ingredients he touches.
In front of him, simple elements — new olive oil, Aglione, wild herbs — become gestures of care, invitations to slow down, to savour, to feel.
Nicolà is the chef I bring into my destination weddings in private villas when couples want more than a “catering service”:
