Synthetic Mushdrum

Chiama Sito Web

Synthetic Mushdrum Darkwave solo project by Piero Cocozza, from Italy. Songs of broken love, recurring nightmares, dreamlike visions and reborn dreams. Same soul. New shape.

Blending sounds from Coldwave, Minimal Synth and Post-Punk. Synthetic Mushdrum blends coldwave, minimal synth and post-punk with a darker electro pulse, drawing from EBM and electro wave. Piero Cocozza was also the songwriter and producer of Karma Shock, the darkwave duo formed with bassist Antonio Induddi, sharing stages with Diaframma, Neon, Ash Code, SYGYZYX, Deus Ex Lumina, European Ghost, The Spoiled and more. In 2025, after a long pause, the Karma Shock project reached the end of its journey. From 2026, all the Karma Shock discography will be reborn in a new form through the Synthetic Mushdrum project, with a new sound and identity.
