Allowing each surface to find its own rhythm.

MERISTEM
Two parts, one field.
The work develops through the relationship between two independent surfaces, where forms and colours extend from one module into the other.
Rather than seeking symmetry, the connection emerges through variation: circles shift in scale, waves continue and interrupt, colours find their balance.
Coherence is not created by making everything the same, but by allowing different elements to exist in relation.

SEQUOYAH
Inspired by the bark of the giant sequoia, this work explores texture as a living landscape.
Across many traditions, the sequoia symbolizes resilience, longevity and the connection between earth and sky. Deeply rooted while constantly reaching upward, it embodies a quiet balance between strength and growth.

Layer by layer, the surface evolves through subtle variations in texture and depth, shaped by repetition, time and material.
