6 months ago already since this wonderful day.

A wedding is always a special occasion. 2 people celebrate their love for each other and are often witnessed by the people they hold closest in their hearts. Just that alone is a reason to be grateful for the work that I do but when I get to do it for 2 people who were already among my favourite humans in the whole world. Well that’s extra special magical.

I had the most fabulous day reliving the memories contained in the videos of the day.

Hello lovely followers.

I’m going to do my best in these ‘quiet’ months to post some videos to share more information about getting married on beautiful Lake Garda but for now this is just a quick ‘Hello’ who anyone who doesn’t yet know me.

Oh and also it’s my birthday today. At 54 there’s really no need to make a song and dance is there but I’ve been enjoying the messages from everyone, thank you 🥰

Yesterday I went to see this stunning location, perched on a hill with views in every direction.

They host a limited number of weddings each summer for couples who love the views, nature and Lake Garda.

There are 9 apartments and the space for 60 guests to have a wonderful wedding and party here. It’s perfect for anyone wanting to have a multiple day event with their favourite humans.

I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to really explain to someone who hasn’t been here that you really can never get bored of looking at the views from Lake Garda.

This particular angle is the stunning terrace of the Hotel Savoy Palace in Gardone Riviera which looks right out on to beautiful Lake Garda.

What an amazing season 2025 has been and what a fabulous way to salute it, as a guest, at a fabulous event on the Isola where I am for so many of my weddings.

It’s been the season where I’ve been most tested by the weather, repeatedly…. But my couples took it the only way you can with philosophy and they had the best day anyway, despite the weather.

I am forever grateful that I get to do what I do in such a beautiful and special place.

To all my 2025 couples thank you so much for your trust ❤️ I never take it for granted.

Ruth & I exchanged our first emails almost 3 years ago to the day. I hadn’t realised it had been so long ago and then at the same time it feels like we’ve known each other for many years.
Not only were Ruth & Mason absolutely lovely to work with but the way their families invited me in made it extra magical to be a part of their wedding.
And I LOVED translating their ceremony and adding a little grumble about Ruth’s many, many names 😆
