"Happy Women's Day to all women, EVERYWHERE. Happy Women's Day to the sweet and maternal women, as well as to the angry feminists. Happy Women's Day to the singles and the married women. Happy Women's Day to the mothers and the aunts, who become the mothers of their grandchildren and the children of their friends. You are always mothers, sometimes even better.
Happy Women's Day whether you were born a woman or became one later on. Deep down, you have always been women, so happy Women's Day to you always and anyway.
Happy Women's Day whether you want to rent out your uterus (that's what I hear people say), but I prefer to think that you want to put yourself at the service of life, whether for money or for free, it doesn't matter, but at the service of life. Or whether you are conservative and want to keep it all for yourself.
Happy Women's Day whether you are celebrating this day by honoring the 134 women who died in the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire in New York, where this holiday originated, or whether you want to go see a nice all-male st******se.
Happy Women's Day again, whether you are directors or managers, cisgender or transgender or non-binary. Because above all else, I wish you to be free and free to do what you think is right for you. Free! Because the inner FREEDOM and social FREEDOM of each of you is the true purpose of this celebration.
