A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... StreetSafari was an events company that organized motoring events. Many hours were spent bent over a tshirt press or a vinyl plotter putting together all the cool swag for team packets. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Never be surprised about how life comes back around in circles, just in slightly different ways. Just enjoy the ride.

K: ”Checking off the list.... got your swim trunks?”
J: “Won’t need them.”
K: “Check. Aqua shoes?”
J: “Won’t need them.”
Ten minutes before starting horn:
J: “I need to change shoes.”
K: “You’re not dressed for the outbound.”
J: “That’s my shot.”
K: “You’ve got no swim trunks!”
J: “Won’t need them.”
K: sigh

StreetSafari Photo is looking for contract stringers in our local Pensacola area. We work sports events Saturdays and Sundays, we pay flat rate by the event or $25/hour minimum 2 hours, paid cash on the day. We start early and are done before lunch. It is NOT necessarily every weekend, we rotate based on photographer availability, type and size of event, etc.

This is a great way to earn a little extra money, have a great time (festivals and events are usually involved), or get experience shooting live sport. We will train for the shot we want, we can provide the equipment, we just need people willing to show up and do the job as instructed.

Some travel opportunities, we pay travel when overnight is necessary.

DSLR competency required, Canon preferred. We shoot active (no tripods, or monopod only), you must be able to stand in one place and lift 6-7 pounds for extended periods. Everything else, we can teach. PM if you need more details. Share with anyone who may be interested.
