A summer afternoon in Chianti 🌿

Family photos among the vineyards, Tuscan hills in the distance, warm summer light and a little one much more interested in exploring than posing for the camera.

✨Want both the view over Florence and the classic city centre in one photoshoot?

The best way to combine them is to start very early ☀️

📍We begin at Piazzale Michelangelo at sunrise, with its iconic view over the city. The soft light here doesn’t last long and becomes much harsher soon after sunrise, so timing really matters.

📍From there, we take a short taxi ride into the city centre for Santa Maria del Fiore, Ponte Vecchio, while Florence is still relatively empty.

This route gives us both the panoramic view and the heart of Florence in just a couple of hours, with beautiful early morning light and without the crowds that fill these locations later in the day.

Elegant, natural and full of life. A morning of walking, talking, coffee and a lot of laughter, through the old streets of Oltrarno and along the river.

I love when a photoshoot feels this easy and real, with space for spontaneous moments, movement and all those little things that happen in between.

I’m Olga. I’ve been living in Florence for more than a decade, photographing people, places and stories around Italy, and somehow I still get excited about an evening in the Chianti hills.
