‘Makar Sankranti’, the festival of Kites, is a harvest festival & is believed to mark the arrival of spring in India. It is when people make ‘til-chikkis’ and exchange it as a symbol of goodwill and bliss. Flying kites becomes a one-day sport where revenge is only taken by cutting one’s kite; peace restored!

We, at Bliss N Bow Events, aim to be a kite, sore high, dare for the skies and fly as much as we can. We believe that for a kite the thread doesn't matter as it flies even after it’s detached from the thread; free will and determination is all that matters.

"Diwali" aka "Divali" aka "Deepavali" aka "Festival of Lights"; the auspicious, spiritual and radiant festival of the year is here. Diwali is here!

It’s probably the best time of the year for everyone, people shop jewellery and clothing, do pujas and artis that praise Gods, hang ‘kandils’ in their windows and light up their homes with diyas signifying triumph of good over evil, draw beautiful rangolis, burst firecrackers and have parties in their communities, meet all their relatives and so on.

It’s a time of happiness, opulence, harmony, spiritual & mythological significance, resonance of crackers, hued rangolis, brightness in the atmosphere and family get-togethers.

"Lakshmi Puja", the name strikes in our minds a lot of memories and rituals prominent in our homes during Diwali, the Festival of Lights. The ceremony involves singing artis and mantras praising Goddess Lakshmi which marks a ‘Fortunate’ beginning of the festival.

Dhanteras is the first day of the five-day festival of Diwali, as celebrated in India. Dhan teras is compilation of two words viz. ‘Dhan’ meaning opulence & ‘Teras’ meaning 13th day (lunar day) as per the Hindu calendar.
