आज महाराष्ट्र दिन. १ मे १९६० मुंबईसह स्थापन झालेला संयुक्त महाराष्ट्र आज हीरक महोत्सवी वर्ष साजरा करतोय. गेल्या साथ वर्षाचा विचार करता आजवर महाराष्ट्राने अनेक आंदोलने, संकट, प्रहार आपल्या निधड्या छातीवर झेलले आणि तितक्याच पराक्रमाने परतवून देखील लावले. या सर्व घटनांची, पराक्रमाची शिदोरी घेऊन महाराष्ट्र एकसष्ठीमध्ये पदार्पण करत आहे. आज कोरोना विषाणूमुळे महाराष्ट्रासह संपूर्ण देशामध्ये उद्भवलेली परिस्तिथी पाहता या संकट समयी उत्साहाने महाराष्ट्र दिन साजरा करणे उचित ठरणार नाही. आज गेले ४० - ४५ दिवस महाराष्ट्रातील सर्व यंत्रणा, पोलीस बांधव, डॉक्टर, प्रशासकीय यंत्रणा, अत्यावश्यक सेवा देणाऱ्या यंत्रणा यांच्या सह समस्त मराठीजनांनी सर्वानी हे संकट आपल्या निधड्या छातीवर घेऊन महाराष्ट्र धर्माचे तोरण सुरक्षित ठेवण्यासाठी दिलेलं योगदान निश्चितच इतिहासात सुवर्णाक्षरांनी लिहिले जाईल. हा हीरक महोत्सवी महाराष्ट्र दिन महाराष्ट्रासाठी आरोग्यासाठी लढताना शाहिद झालेल्या पोलीस, डॉक्टर बांधवांना समर्पित करणे गरजेचे आहे. आजदेखील आपल्या सर्वाना एकजूट होऊन 'राकट देशा, कणखर देशा, दगडांच्या देशा' हि मराठी जनांची वृत्ती सिद्ध करावी लागेल आणि या कोरोना संकटाचा पराभव करून शौर्य गाजवावे लागेल. शुभेच्छांसह जय महाराष्ट्र !
