Pratyusha Banerjee was an Indian television actress. She started her career with Balika Vadhu as Anandi which was very successfull. She was popularly known as Anandi by her audience.

Balika Vadhu actress Pratyusha Banerjee is reportedly dead! Rumours suggest that the actress has committed su***de in Mumbai. She was admitted to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Andheri West, where she is believed to have succumbed to her self-inflicted injury. Pratyusha is believed to have hanged herself to death between 4 and 5 pm lST on April 1, 2016. Pratyusha played Anandi on Balika Vadhu, the show that began as a story on child marriage. She had also participated in reality shows such as Bigg Boss 7, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 and more recently in Power Couple.

The actress was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Pratyusha apparently had relationship problems because of which she committed su***de earlier in the day. The news was earlier thought to be an April Fool’s Day joke by her fans, but is sadly true.

Pratyusha was reportedly having problems with her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh who reportedly tortured her. The actress was merely 24 years old and her fans, family and friends are distraught and devastated with the news.

More reports are awaited, although the hospital has confirmed the death. Police are waiting for the post-mortem report of the actress to establish whether it was su***de or murder. Rest in peace, Pratyusha!

SBI Chairman who is mentor for IIM Sambalpur feels it should concentrate on manufacturing.

State Bank of India Chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya strongly feels that the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sambalpur needs to be different from other IIMs. She is entrusted with overall charge of the IIM-S

While other IIMs are mostly serving the service sector, the IIM-S would be geared up to serve the manufacturing sector.

Chairing the first meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) of the IIM-S at the SBI Headquarters in Mumbai, Bhattacharya said that in view of the large industries in and around Sambalpur, this institution needs to take care of the concerns of the manufacturing sector.

Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Ib Valley and other nearby areas have steel, power, aluminum and other major industries. So, these industries provide ample opportunities for the IIM-S.

Odisha Chief Secretary AP Padhi, Skill Development and Technical Education Principal Secretary LN Gupta and IIM Indore Director and IIM-S Mentor Director Rishikesh T Krishnan attended the BoG meeting.

Railway Ministry launches Clean My Coach Service to ensure cleanliness in trains.

As per the scheme, for any cleaning requirement in the coach, the passengers will have to send an SMS on mobile number 58888. The Ministry said, passenger’s request is immediately acknowledged via SMS on mobile phone along with a code. A message is also sent by the server to the mobile number of on board house keeping staff travelling on the same train along with the details of the passengers such as coach number, berth number. The house keeping staff contacts the passengers, carries out the cleaning work as per demand.

Passenger can also use android app Cleanmycoach Indian Railways’ or webpage ‘cleanmycoach.com’ for logging the request.

The service was announced by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu in his budget speech for 2016-17.
