Aprameya Dixit and Athiti Prabhushastri from Ravindra Kelekar Dayamandir representing Salcete were declared Winners at India at 75 School Quiz. The Chief Guest Vincent Ramos (Senior Vice President, IHCL-Goa), Quizmaster Rajiv D’Silva and the organizer Harshvardhan Bhatkuly handed over the trophy and certificates to the winners.

The Salcette Taluka round saw a victory for students of Ravindra Kelekar Dyanmandir- Atithi Prabhushastri and Aprameya Dixit. Though there was a tight battle between the teams, the duo managed to seal their victory with scoring full marks at the rapid fire round.
The winners were given a certificate at the hands of Rajiv D’Silva (Quiz Master) and Harshvardhan Bhatkuly, (Publisher-Editor, Business Goa) in the presence of teacher Shukla Parab and Head Master of Konkani Bhasha Mandal’s Ravindra Kelekar Dnyanmandir, Anant Agni.

GRAND FINALE
The Maria Crescencia Menezes Memorial Trust will host the Grand Finale of the All-Goa India @75 School Quiz, on Thursday, 23rd February 2023.

After travelling the length and breadth of Goa, with some spectacular performances in all 12 talukas of the State, the finale will see one winner taking away the trophy.

With two exciting semi-finals held this month, the teams that made it to the finals are Bicholim, Pernem, Tiswadi, Mormugao, Salcette, and Quepem.

The quiz was a unique opportunity for school students from across Goa especially the hinterlands to display their talent and knowledge about India’s culture, art, literature, ethos, politics and with a special focus on the freedom movement. As India celebrates 75 years of Independence this exercise was of great importance to youngsters to respect and look at the history of India’s movement to gain Independence.

The Canacona Taluka round of India at 75 School Quiz was held at Shree Mallikarjun and Shri Chetan Manju Desai College with a quality set of quizzers vying for the top spot. Students from Balram Day Care School, Shriya Dinkar Mestry and Makarand Velip kept a steady lead to win the round convincingly, even before they went into the last rapid fire round

The India at 75 School Quiz Dharbandora Taluka round was a convincing victory for students of Abhinav Vidyamandir, Mollem - Ayan Kathol and Sharv Sangodkar. The duo led from the front scoring 19 out of 25 in the written prelims (a state record, till now) and then eased ahead of the competition in the penultimate round - scoring rather heavily on the Freedom Struggle round to seal their victory at Dharbandora.

The Tiswadi round of India at 75 School Quiz was a cliffhanger and went on till the last round where an all-girls team Anushree Khandeparkar and Tanishka Prabhu representing Mushtifund High School won the quiz.
