GM Lalit Babu, CM Madhesh ensure Indian sweep

Grandmaster Lalit Babu and Candidate Master Madhesh Kumar made it an Indian sweep as they emerged champions in contrasting fashion in the Rs 40 lakhs prize money, Aurionpro International Grandmaster and Junior Chess Tournament, which concluded at the World Trade Centre.

Proud to be associated with this iconic chess event that has thrown up so many champions and has been revived after a gap of 5years.

Went to a restaurant called Lyla at BKC last night. The dining experience at this fine dine was anything but fine. While it's their prerogative to serve obscenely prized drinks and miniscule portions of food, as a paying customer, the services offered to me should also be flawless.
The picture above is of their filthy rest room. Yes, the puddle on the floor is urine, leaked by some uncouth earlier user and the overflowing dustbin needs no explanation.
When informed of the same, one of the staff tried to brush it aside with an excuse of staff shortage. Who cares about customers satisfaction. Someone needs to take notice.

Zach Faizal, a young entrepreneur from Dubai, who heads RunKwa Foundation, visited Talasari with me recently. Visited the school, met with the athletes. RunKwa helps deserving athletes and are also doing work in Kenya. Their family foundation, Faizal and Shabana Foundation also works extensively in the field of education.
