Today at by Archi Barthakur, we received the most heartwarming and unexpected kitchen order. An elderly man gently said,
' I came across many rare dishes on your menu .. something I haven’t seen in years. I have a request .. The mashed rice, potato, and egg balls .. just like my mother used to make. Served with those simple boiled, steamed, and sautéed vegetables. It reminded me of my home .. of younger days. Could you send over two plates for me and my wife ..'
It was a moment steeped in nostalgia, and what came out of that kitchen wasn’t just a dish but a memory, reheated and served with love. A taste of the past wrapped in warmth.It carried stories, whispers of old kitchens, laughter echoing from long ago, and the quiet comfort of being remembered.
