North Karnataka Traditional Food Raw
1) Raw onion and raw tomato chatni. in kannada we call it as Ullagaddi Chatni
2. Second one is bhaji/sabji mixed of 15 vegetables. We call.it as BHAJJI.
3. It's trypical North Karnataka jowar round laddus made up of jowar flour just by giving hot steam. The combination of this laadu n that bhajji chatni is d main dish for this ELLU AMAVASYA festival every year..
4. Fourth is one our North Karnataka's very special. Infact daily chatni. It's ground nut dry chatni. Just mix up curd or oil or water n have with roti n chapati. When no sabji is amde we take this powder n eat with rotis . One doesn't need any sabji if this SHENGA CHATNI(ground nut powder) is with us. I take this to Himalayas.
5. Brinjal Masala Sabji.
6. One is Raagi roti n another white one is jowar roti. It's rough n kadhak roti which can b used for months together
7. Shaavige Paayasa. The sweet one. Home made.
