I want to introduce you to one of BLStudio’s most meaningful partners: Tribal Festival

When Yaakov Babani reached out to me last May, I was immediately hooked.
Seven years ago, he felt something missing in our world.
so he created a space for it to exist.

On paper, a music festival and Shabbat do not belong together.
But under the trees, on the outskirts of Jerusalem, something happens.
Something real.
Something powerful.

Tribal is a space for everyone.
Religious, non-religious, datlash, baal teshuva, chareidi, singles, families, Anglos, Israelis, all of it, all together.
No labels.
No boxes.
Just people, showing up as one Tribe.

So how does it actually work?
Thursday and Friday are filled with music, art, light installations, workshops, incredible food, and even better people.

Thirty minutes before Shabbat, the music stops.

We gather for Kabbalat Shabbat.
We sit around the table together, as one community.
We pray.
We sing.
We eat.
We listen.
We learn things about ourselves and the strangers who suddenly feel like home.

After Havdalah, the music returns to welcome the new week with dance, joy, and unity.

This is Tribal.
