Creating Connection with Consent & Boundaries Humans need kindness and connection to thrive. Honoured and happy to be offering Conscious Touch workshops and Cuddle Parties around Ireland

Hugs for Health and Happiness – Learn about Consent and Boundaries in the wonderfully relaxing events that are Cuddle Parties. I'm Gráinne Carr, I'm a life and business coach and I run a variety of trainings and workshops including events on the topic of Consent and Boundaries; public events, charitable events and for 3rd level colleges. Standalone Consent and Boundary workshops are designed with

the specific audience in mind and can be delivered within a variety of timeframes, from 1 hour lecture incorporating Q&A to one and two day training programmes. Cuddle party is a short workshop in non-sexual touch, boundaries and communication, followed by a couple of hours to put what you’ve learned into practice by enjoying and exploring touch. (Think hugs, foot rubs, back rubs, spooning and just general non-sexual snuggling.) These events are spaces to understand consent and boundaries, to be clear on what you wish to receive and what you wish to offer and feeling fully empowered to No if you wish to also. These events allow you a space to experience, if you wish to, physical non-sexual affection and of course respect and kindness. I'll lead you and the other guests through an orientation, where you’ll learn to make easy, respectful requests and communicate clear boundaries, and where we’ll go over the simple rules. Then you’ll have plenty of time to relax, chat, cuddle or just hang out. Cuddle Party is not a sexual event! Everyone remains fully clothed and agrees to the Cuddle Party Rules, which include:

* Ask for what you want and be clear on what you wish to offer and get a verbal “yes” before proceeding.
* You don’t have to cuddle anyone you don’t want to, or anyone at all, ever. Some people are already comfortable with touch and can’t wait to be in a place where that’s OK. Others aren’t even sure they want any touch at all, but come to explore some communication skills. Others are just curious about what it might be like. Whatever your reasons, a Cuddle Party is a great playground for discovering more about yourself, for exploring new ways of connecting with others, or simply enjoying a relaxing, cozy evening with other cuddly souls. At Cuddle Party you may experience an increased sense of well-being and belonging, a boost in compassion and playfulness, a decrease in blood pressure and afterward have a better night's sleep. Cuddle Party provides an opportunity to meet new friends, connect with partners and pals in a soulful new way and be part of a warm, safe and huggable tribe. Nurturing and consensual loving touch is good for maintaining healthy blood pressure, a strong nervous system and a balanced emotional health. Your ability to connect with and develop greater trust in others is emphasized during the group exchanges during Cuddle Party’s. Self-care is a cornerstone of Cuddle Party experience. Feedback from previous events:

A piece of the longer podcast episode that I recently had the pleasure of recording with Seamus O'Cruadhlaoich. In this excerpt I talk about event tomorrow night in Cork. :)

A fun, safe space to develop new consent and boundary focused skills and practice creating consensual connections - with added laughter! :)
