READ THIS IF YOU WANT A PHOTOBOOTH AT YOUR WEDDING 👇🚨
If you’re booking a photobooth for your wedding or event, here’s something most people don’t realise until it’s too late… not all photobooths are created equal.
A photobooth isn’t just a “fun extra”, it captures some of the most unfiltered, joyful, and chaotic moments of your entire day! So the quality of those photos really matters.
A professional photobooth provider will use a DSLR camera - not a tablet, not a we**am. That means crisp, high-resolution images, proper depth of field, and flattering lighting that actually makes everyone look their best (even at the end of the night).
Lighting is another huge factor. Cheap setups rely on whatever light is in the room… which usually means grainy, dark, or washed-out photos. A proper setup includes studio lighting that’s been tested and adjusted for every environment, so your photos are consistently sharp and beautifully lit.
And then there’s the experience. A skilled photobooth attendant knows how to read the room, keep the energy up, help guests feel comfortable, and most importantly, will understand a camera to the same high level as your photographer. We recently had someone come up to us who had seen us at a previous wedding gushing to tell us that they framed their photo (ultimate compliment!). You will ONLY get results like this from a skilled photographer.
At the end of the day, your photobooth gallery becomes part of your memories so it’s worth investing in someone who knows how to do it properly.
Because blurry photos and bad lighting? You can’t fix that after the event. If a deal seems too good to be true or all of the promo contains AI images, then it probably is too good to be true.
This is purely for awareness of different offerings out there, some people will be just as happy with an iPad booth and that’s okay! 🩷 Others want something a bit more luxe and that’s what this post is aimed to help with 😇
Sorry for my rant & thanks for coming to my TED talk. 🤍
