Made a few small arrangements in Horkans Garden Centre over the past few days and then a few specific order requests too of these wee posies of white roses & freesias ( I just loved the freesias, so so real looking ! ), gypsophilia, blue cornflowers and various foilage pieces.

Just home after yet again another busy week in Horkans Garden Centre . The main orders for this week were door wreaths , so it was nice doing these as I never make the same wreath twice so all are unique 🥰.

I’m in Horkans today and all weekend from 9am to 6pm , Friday and Saturday and then it’s 11am to 6pm on Sunday .

Love it when customers bring in their own vases \containers from home and ask me to dickie ! them up , as floral arrangements can become tired & sad over the years. It can sometimes be quite time consuming if I have to wash and dry the floral placements but usually it involves taking the whole thing apart and redesigning it using some of my own new stock to add a bit more life & new floral foam while trying to adhere to the requested shape and style.

It didn’t come together or harmonise till I added the red & yellow Gloriosa lilies & the red & yellow pomegranates ! Xx

So here you go ! !
Spring is on its way ! As promised a few photos of the faux floral arrangements I made over the past 2 days , I just had to wait for the rain and the strong winds to subside before I could photograph outdoors !
5 of the above are smaller wicker basket arrangement suitable for indoors only and the other 5 are my weighted grave designs which are well able to withstand our current weather and ideal for the graves of loved ones , as I fill the containers with concrete.
