A little look at the greening-up stage of one of my weighted grave pots this afternoon in Horkans Garden Centre
Each pot is individually made with a concrete base and all faux foliage is securely fixed into foam attached onto the dried concrete using Tec7, along with taped wire supports for extra strength and durability.

I take great care to ensure every arrangement is made to withstand all weather conditions, giving you peace of mind that your tribute will remain beautiful and secure.

I’ll be adding the primary and secondary flowers, along with the finishing fillers, tomorrow morning, but I wanted to show you the amount of quality foliage and materials that go into every single design before I even start with the flowers .

Every arrangement is created with care, attention to detail, and respect for your loved one’s resting place.

Now for those of you wondering where I’ve disappeared to in Horkans Garden Centre, don’t worry, I haven’t run off or gone into hiding just yet 😄!

I’ve simply moved from the front entrance down to the former Edinburgh Woollen Mills shop (on the right just before the Bayleaf Restaurant).

I’m still in the middle of getting everything looking the part, but I have to say… I’m slightly obsessed already. It’s fab.
Turns out having actual space for floral arranging & lots of storage area makes my life much easier . All my floristry stock & my bits and bobs (and there are a lot of them 🙈) finally have a lovely home, and I feel more organised… and dare I say it… more professional!

Do pop in and say hi next time you’re in store — I’d love to see ye.

Order book closed for the next 2 weeks ~ sorry I won’t be in a position or have the time to take on any new orders as I need to be fully focused on my floristry students in college , exam and correction work these 2 weeks , But I’ll be checking in from time to time when I’m in horkans just to show ye I’m not on vacation ! ! 🙂🥰

Those of you who know me , know how these weighted grave designs ( of faux florals & foilage ) are always my best sellers, thus meaning I’m sold out of them very often ! The concrete does take me a few days to make & set and then another while to tec 7 the wired oasis on top . But dont worry I’ll have a new batch ready tomoro or Saturday as im getting on top of it now , just a few finishing touches to add to this lot here 🥰
