Delighted to be featured in the Irish Star US today✨

“A New York woman is making waves in the world of wedding painting after moving to Ireland to pursue her artistic dreams.

Tiffani Love, from Potsdam, St. Lawrence County, fell in love with the Emerald Isle while studying at the Burren College of Art in 2022. During her studies, Love developed a deep connection to the shifting moods of the Irish landscape and has since exhibited her landscape paintings across the country, most recently at the Clifden Arts Festival.

In recent years, though, she has also branched out into wedding painting, after a friend first asked her to capture a wedding scene.

She told the Irish Star: ‘I did a painting for my friend and really enjoyed the process. I’ve always enjoyed painting portraits, and I have a passion for landscape painting, so painting this wedding scene was like a combination of the two.’

Love founded Gestures by Love last year with the aim of capturing the emotion and beauty of weddings on canvas.“

I was asked to create this really special painting commission recently as a gift from Carol to her husband Conor, whose mother had passed before their wedding day.

About five reference photos were merged together to create a composition of the groom with his mother as if she had been there on the day.

This was such a special and unique piece to create and I’m honoured I was trusted to bring the vision to life 🤍

✨ Q: What exactly do you paint?
👩🏼‍🎨 A: You choose the moment! First kiss, first look, ceremony scene... I’ll help you decide what will make the most beautiful composition.

✨ Q: Do you finish it on the day?
👩🏼‍🎨 A: I paint most of it live at the wedding, then take it back to the studio to refine details. You get a finished artwork delivered to you after the big day.

✨ Q: What size is the painting?
👩🏼‍🎨 A: I offer three sizes! The middle size, my Gold Package (50 x 60 cm.), is a favourite: it’s large enough to make a statement, but still easy to hang in any room.

✨ Q: Can you travel?
👩🏼‍🎨 A: Yes! I'm based in Galway, but I’m happy to travel throughout Ireland and further afield for destination weddings abroad.

✨ Q: How do I book?
👩🏼‍🎨 A: Send me your date, venue, and preferred package. If I’m available, we’ll chat details and you can secure your date with a deposit and signed contract.
