Massive gig coming up from the North East Old Skool folk

Timo Maas
Col Hamilton

Gleave Dobbin

Computer

And a stacked lineup across 3 rooms

Local legends Kevin Clarke and DJ SMAC representing Dundalk

North East Old Skool is proud to announce two-time Grammy nominated Timo Maas for his first ever appearance in Drogheda, landing at Earth Nightclub Drogheda.

A DJ and producer who helped define an era, Timo’s sound shaped dancefloors across Europe — from the deep, driving energy of “Der Schieber” and “Ubik”, to his iconic remix of Azzido Da Bass – “Dooms Night”, alongside standout reworks for artists such as Madonna, Depeche Mode, Muse, Fatboy Slim and Moby.

At the height of the late 90s and early 2000s, Ireland became one of his strongest territories. From early breakthrough sets at Lush! to headlining packed-out nights across the country, Timo quickly became a firm favourite with Irish crowds. His appearances at legendary venues like the Temple Theatre in Dublin, alongside major events such as Gatecrasher at The Point Depot and shows at The Met Arena in Armagh, are still talked about by those who were there — as well as his Planet Love 2001 Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1, which captured that era at its peak.

Support on the night comes from a lineup of DJs who have played a key role in Irish club culture over the years, including Col Hamilton, DJ Pressure, Gleave Dobbin, Jacko, Computer and more. Collectively, these names represent decades of experience across some of Ireland’s most respected clubs and nights, with backgrounds spanning residencies, guest appearances, and long-standing involvement in the scene from the 90s through to today.

Making their debut for us are Darren Rice and Dave O Reilly. Darren broke into the scene after winning the nationwide 2001 2FM mixing competition, earning a slot on the main stage at Creamfields. From Coloursfest at The Enigma in 2003 through to Global Gathering in 2005, and later playing extensively in the South for Planet Love and countless nights such as Clubspace, Revolution and more, he has built a strong and consistent presence over the years.

Dave O’Reilly also made his name through competition success, winning a residency at the iconic Caesars in the North East. Over the years he has played alongside a wide range of established DJs including Lisa Lashes, Rob Tissera, DJ Trix, Rachel Auburn, Des Mitchell, Scott Project, Lisa Pin-Up, Agnelli & Nelson, Mr Spring, Alex P and Paddy Frazer.

Technical wizard Andy Kelly returns by demand, stepping up this time for a very special and exclusive back-to-back vinyl set with Derek Boyle. Things wouldn’t be the same without the NEOS residents — Sulley, Leno, and Kevin Clarke — alongside an extended lineup of DJs across three rooms of old skool, bringing you right back to those original clubbing days.
