Lucan Spa Hotel is an Irish family-run hotel and one of Dublin's premier wedding venues. This brand was somewhat lost in the 1990s.

Lucan Spa Hotel is a family-run hotel, owned and run by the Colgan Family for the past 60 years. We are situated in the Dublin suburb village of Lucan, and are only 25 minutes away from Dublin City Centre. We are a three star hotel, and have been a major landmark building in Greater Dublin for well over 100 years. The hotel is known for its quality service from friendly staff, our competitive rate

s and our delicious food. People from all over Ireland stay in the hotel, with a keen affiliation with people from the West of Ireland due to The Colgan Family's links to Mayo and its location on the N4 to Galway. Throughout its history, the hotel was recognised as one of Ireland's top Wedding Venues. However, in 2008/09, over €3,000,000 was invested in a brand new Banqueting suite to bring the hotel back to the pinnacle of Irish Wedding Hotels. This investment resulted in the stunning Boyne Suite that you see today.

Recently, our staff began a new initiative of collecting the empty plastic bottles and aluminium cans purchased at the hotel in order to retrieve the deposits the hotel pays on purchase through the Re-Turn scheme. The idea will be to donate the funds collected to a local charity or cause.

This morning, following collections over the last 2 months, we made a donation of €196 to Finding Charlie’s Voice. Finding Charlie's Voice is an Irish Registered Charity (CHY22899) from right here in Lucan that supports children and young adults with speech and language communication needs in Ireland.
