Just looking back at my reviews from last year for the house in Donegal. I’m delighted that people are now seeing the beauty of Donegal. In my opinion one of the most spectacular and scenic counties in Ireland. Also the most overlooked county.

It’s going to be another busy year for the Airbnb and I’m going to try and keep improving it all the time.

Secondly little details like the fringe detail are so cute. Plus the fabric is a gorgeous burnt orange.
Nice size too. I love it and actually don’t really care if others don’t 😂.

I haven’t bought flowers in ages. Didn’t even get them over Xmas because we were heading off on holidays so wasn’t a point. Today I got these in Dunnes and arranged them in my little bottles. Very cute 🥰 🌸

At last blue skies. Weren’t the last few days the most depressing start to a New Year? Or am I the only person feeling that. Weather really can impact on mood I think especially with short daylight hours.

First year in a long time that I’m reluctant to take a Christmas tree down. I usually can’t stick the sight of the tree by St Stephen’s Day but this year I love my tree. It looks like it should live in its corner 🎄

I hope everyone is set for Xmas? I’m not really but it will be fine. As long as the kids are sorted it’s fine. I think that’s the way most people think 🎄🎅

Used a few bits I had lying around to set the table today. I especially loved using my frog table card holders which I found during the year and my lobster 🦞 starter plates.
Foliage was just a few off cuts of ivy from the garden and a few sprigs from the eucalyptus bush.
All very simple.

Happy enough with my little project for the stairs. I’ve never done one before. I combined faux and lots of real foliage in the display.
Very large Xmas 🎅 🌲to be decorated today.

Thank God for antibiotics. Feeling so much better today so decided to give the banisters a faff. I’ve never done this before so there’s always a first time for everything!
I need to add more fairy lights and tidy it up but so far I’m happy with my festive faux and real foliage garland.
