We’ve dived into another deep research project, and we’ve uncovered something pretty wild. Ever wonder why one of our gamemasters 𝐬𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭 while resetting the rooms after a late-night game? Well, we think we’ve finally found the explanation.
While digging through the archives, we stumbled across an interesting reference from a document dated July 27, 1313. Back then, our street was described as the "upper lane leading from Booth Street (Shop Street) towards the house of the Friars Minor." We can say with great certainty that this is 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲’𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐞.
Knowing that our street has been around for over 700 years, it’s not exactly a surprise that things get a little spooky around here. It seems like the ghosts from the past are just keeping an eye on us!
