In Irish culture the Celtic knot represents interconnection and is usually seen as a symbol of love, happiness, faith and friendship and undying or eternal love.

The ‘Sampaguita’ flower, is the National Flower of the Philippines. Sampaguita, a Spanish term, comes from the Filipino words "sumpa kita," which means "I promise you." It is a pledge of mutual love.
