It was great to meet the Student Coucil this week. They sampled one of our new meals and made some great suggestions. It was a lovely opportunity to get some very constructive feedback from the people who matter most…..the pupils! They are a credit to their families and to their school.

Our Student Council recently held a meeting with our school lunch provider Ashdale Catering.

The boys learned all about how their lunches are made and get from the kitchen into our classrooms daily.

They shared feedback with Yvonne who very kindly noted all their different ideas and she explained about the importance of eating healthy nuitritous food.

They boys received a sample meal of bacon and cabbage and were commended for being so polite and professional in representing their peers and ideas from Scoil Íosagáin!

SNA’s notice things in children, that most people don’t,
They can understand children, in ways that others won’t,
It can be very overlooked, the work of an SNA,
The time to stop and appreciate them, should really be today,
Thank you SNAs, for all the work you’ve done,
For so many children, you make school so much fun,
