Just because I am only a Finalist for 2026.
I am looking forward to a big night out with the elite suppliers at the .ie awards in February.

Perhaps a new guna for the big night in early 2026 πŸ€”

To be listed among the finalists is incredible as there are so many fantastic established people working in this industry and it is a pleasure to be listed among the best of them.

Go raibh mile maith agaibh to every one who voted. You are a sound bunch.

As always, I will keep you in the loop.

Would you have your ceremony indoors in this incredible space with the most serene energy imaginable

OR

Down on the Lough Erne lake where the scenery stretches for miles around and still remains unspoilt untouched but very much loved

Megan and Emmas story started with a new ladies' Rugby team in Magherafelt. As time progressed and they worked together as captain and vice captain, their friendship and then relationship took on a whole new dynamic.

Eventually, after a lovely proposal at Tramore beach, the couple chose for their wedding day.

They shared their own vows, which were really heartwarming and fun, but perhaps my most favourite element of their ceremony was the sand ceremony, which we had redesigned to be a circle of love. It was a symbolic celebration of the community that surrounded and will continue to support them.

The two brides were joined by their Mammies and two best friends. As the final sands were added, the guests were invited to send a silent wish, prayer, blessing or hope towards Emma and Megan. The vessel now stands as a keepsake in their home as a reminder of the love and support of all the family and friends from their wedding day.

After they were pronounced as legally married, it was then we announced to their guests what they had chosen to be their family surname.

Congratulations to Mrs and Mrs Park, who hurried out for photos with their furbabies, Charlie and Rosie ....so unbelievably cute.

I have worked in weddings for most of my working life and yet there's still always firsts.

On her recent , Carol Ann asked me to help her into her . She doesn't know this, but this was the first time having the privilege to work with such a beautiful gown.

The full beauty of the dress couldn't be captured or appreciated in the hotel room, but when she walked up the corridor ahead of me, I had to take a quick photo.

Not perfectly captured but a perfect moment.

I may have to go visit a bridal store or TeamBride.ie to learn some tips. I think we did well, though.

Back in March was the first elopement of the year in near Ardara in Co. Donegal. I met Hannah and Kelley in their hotel in Donegal Town before we headed out to AnPort.

The scenery and weather on that day married to provide an epic backdrop for everything we did.

The couple had lived in Rhode Island, Florida and were currently living in Connecticut but Ireland held huge sentiment for them as both of their lineage and heritage went back to the Emerald Isle.

It was St. Patrick's Weekend and so we brought the whole Irish package in, even playing a few tunes on the whistle for good measure and so they could share their first dance.

These ceremonies are personal, they are embraced by the outstanding natural beauty and enhanced by the intimacy of the love shared.

Hannah and Kelley got married with me in March and held a party in September whereby they gathered their nearest and dearest to share their news and to show the montage of incredible pictures by

These are my own, but Lauren's are phenomenal.

I walked into the quaintest wee pub in Kilcar with a small front onto the main street to be completely in awe, not just of the size of the venue behind the small door and gardens but more so by the welcome from the gentleman John Joe himself who was working like billio for the impending wedding.

John Joe shared his age with me. He is well past retirement age and had his knee replaced just three short weeks ago. The man is phenomenal, an old school hard grafter. Along with his son David, Laura and the team, they had the place looking amazing.

I received a genuine and authentic Donegal welcome, come in and make yourself at home.
Nothing was a bother and everything was perfectly and carefully placed for the wedding.

As I left after the ceremony, John Joe himself was throwing up the pints to the guests with noone waiting at all.

For any special occasion, especially a good wedding, I highly highly recommend

Both were hosted by
Both took part in the old ancient celtic handfasting ritual.

Both weddings were organised and arranged by good Bundoran folk.

From the lovely pictures circulating, they both got married on the same spot !!!! Near the steps at the lighthouse.
Now, there's a story to tell your folks back home.

Congratulations to both lovely couples on their wedding day.

Go Visit Donegal and get married !!!
