Megan and Emmas story started with a new ladies' Rugby team in Magherafelt. As time progressed and they worked together as captain and vice captain, their friendship and then relationship took on a whole new dynamic.
Eventually, after a lovely proposal at Tramore beach, the couple chose for their wedding day.
They shared their own vows, which were really heartwarming and fun, but perhaps my most favourite element of their ceremony was the sand ceremony, which we had redesigned to be a circle of love. It was a symbolic celebration of the community that surrounded and will continue to support them.
The two brides were joined by their Mammies and two best friends. As the final sands were added, the guests were invited to send a silent wish, prayer, blessing or hope towards Emma and Megan. The vessel now stands as a keepsake in their home as a reminder of the love and support of all the family and friends from their wedding day.
After they were pronounced as legally married, it was then we announced to their guests what they had chosen to be their family surname.
Congratulations to Mrs and Mrs Park, who hurried out for photos with their furbabies, Charlie and Rosie ....so unbelievably cute.
