Asthie Wendra adalah seseorang yang memiliki pengalaman di Industri Event selama lebih dari 15 tahun. Dia merupakan orang penting yang berada di balik layar pada beberapa event besar seperti Prambanan Jazz Festival 2018, Hellprint United Day IV, Dream Theater concert in 2017, dan La La Land Festival 2017. Pada akhir tahun 2018 pun Asthie memegang beberapa konser besar seperti 35 Tahun Slank, 30 Tahun KLa Project, Konser Inspirasi Cinta Yovie Widianto, sampai Konser Monokrom-nya Tulus, dan itu semua dalam waktu yang berdekatan. Dan sekarang Asthie sedang running konser Tulus Tur Manusia 2023 roadshow.
Passion dan cintanya kepada event management telah membawanya menjadi salah satu Show Director dan Stage Manager terbaik di industri ini. Beliau akan mengisi salah satu topik conference di IVES 2023 ini mengenai stage management.

Lighting and sound are fundamental things in creating the experience of events. Basically, event sounds equipment consists of microphones, loudspeaker, and amplifiers. Connecting and getting the balance of these elements needs knowledge and experience. That’s why it’s so important to have a team that is professional to bear the responsibility for setting up and running the equipment. In a conference, the participant wants to hear what the speaker says clearly. The volume needs to be adjusted so it’s not too loud or too little. We don’t even have to mention the importance of good sound for a concert.
We can always use natural lighting when we make an outdoor event during the daytime. But at night time, we need to make sure that people can see their way to avoid any accident. Another example is when we organize a meeting, which is mostly held indoors, we need to adjust the lighting in the room so people can still see the presentation. Lighting at events has now become a new way to convey emotions to viewers and create singular experiences.
