9TSNINE (Saam Bagherloo), born in 1989, is a DJ and producer with a background in electronics and a long-standing connection to the underground electronic music scene. With previous releases like 100 Faces and Backwash, and a strong focus on live performance using analog gear, his sound carries a raw and evolving energy.
This EP explores distance in a quieter, more internal sense, defined less by place and more by silence, by moments where words fall away but something unresolved remains.
Across the tracks, sounds move like signals from an unknown distance, sometimes clear, sometimes fading, blurring the line between memory and imagination. Electro rhythms and synth-driven textures shape a space suspended between what once was and what remains.
Built through gradual layering, the production blends analog and digital synthesizers with grainy textures and noise, forming an unstable yet living atmosphere. Minimal and broken rhythms, shifting subtly in timing and dynamics, create tension, while fragmented melodies never fully resolve.
