For the sixteenth edition of Sinkholecast, we present .tom_ato . A Budapest-based DJ and producer, Tom_Ato has been selecting and mixing music since 2018, beginning his journey through local raves in his hometown and gradually building his presence within the underground scene.

His growing passion for music led him to start collecting vinyl, further deepening his connection with underground culture and shaping his distinctive sound. Today, he is an active part of Budapest’s underground scene, performing across local venues both as a DJ and producer.

His sets are driven by fast-paced, progressive energy, blending groovy trance with occasional twists of broken beats, creating dynamic journeys that keep the dancefloor moving.

SinkholeCast 15 | Kamyar Ring

For the Fifteenth edition of Sinkholecast, we present Kamyar Khanzaei, also known as RING and K-Dub. Born in 1992 in Tehran, Kamyar is a DJ, music producer, visual artist, and founder of Sampatic Records.
He began exploring DJing and music production in 2012, releasing his first track in 2015 on Bullfich Records. In 2016, he launched Sampatic Records with the aim of showcasing real underground sounds from around the world and contributing to the growth of Tehran’s music scene.

His sound sits between electro, dub techno, and minimal techno, shaped by his own distinct touch.

Interlinked EP | 9TSNINE

We’re excited to present the first release on Sinkhole, Interlinked EP by .

9TSNINE (Saam Bagherloo), born in 1989, is a DJ and producer with a background in electronics and a long-standing connection to the underground electronic music scene. With previous releases like 100 Faces and Backwash, and a strong focus on live performance using analog gear, his sound carries a raw and evolving energy.

This EP explores distance in a quieter, more internal sense, defined less by place and more by silence, by moments where words fall away but something unresolved remains.

Across the tracks, sounds move like signals from an unknown distance, sometimes clear, sometimes fading, blurring the line between memory and imagination. Electro rhythms and synth-driven textures shape a space suspended between what once was and what remains.

Built through gradual layering, the production blends analog and digital synthesizers with grainy textures and noise, forming an unstable yet living atmosphere. Minimal and broken rhythms, shifting subtly in timing and dynamics, create tension, while fragmented melodies never fully resolve.

SinkholeCast 14 | Faktor X

For the fourteenth edition of Sinkholecast, we present . A Serbian-born Hungarian DJ and producer based in Budapest.

Active in the underground electronic scene for over two decades, he has performed across the Balkans—including Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, and Albania—as well as in cities such as Oslo and Malta. His appearances include festivals like Ozora, Exit, Sziget, Daad, Inota, Techlake, and Alkotótábor, with upcoming shows at MicrOasis and S.U.N.

His productions include releases on Hooj Choons and Steve Bug’s Audiomatique, alongside remixes for artists such as Alpha Tracks and Gearmaster (Abdul Raeva).

Known for a deep, groove-driven sound with a subtle modern psychedelic edge, he focuses on studio work and selective DJ sets featuring unreleased material.
